Bigg Boss Telugu Non-Stop: Comments by contestant condemned by Nagarjuna, says ‘one country one industry’

Indian cinema industries have recently shown a lot of hostility towards each other, with conversations about north and south Indian cinema after the recent success of films like RRR, Pushpa and KGF 2. Many celebrities have shared their views on this debate, leading to more controversies. Telugu superstar Nagarjuna is the latest to share his thoughts, while speaking on the show Bigg Boss Telugu Non-Stop.

Nataraj, a contestant of the reality show, was seen asking the audience to vote for him instead of co-contestant Bindu because she is from Chennai. The point he made mentioned that while Bindu would go back to Chennai after the show, it would be him who would continue to entertain the Telugu audience.

Nagarjuna, who is the host of the reality show, appeared in the weekend episode and did not take Nataraj’s comments lightly. Condemning his message, the superstar said that all the talk about Chennai, Telugu, south and north is not required and that the world of art is open to all. He added that artists should keep their sense of regional feelings aside and achieve success in their fields.

“We can only succeed if we keep regional feelings aside. It is being proven again and again,” the actor was heard telling Nataraj. “One country, one industry. That’s all,” added Nagarjuna.

Bindu, Akhil Sarthak, Shiva, Ariyana Glory, Baba Bhasker, Anil Rathod and Mithraaw are the contestants that remain in Bigg Boss Telugu Non-Stop, which is streaming on Disney+ Hotstar. The show’s finale is scheduled to be held on May 22, where one of these contestants will come out of the house as the winner.

Meanwhile, Nagarjuna was last seen in Bangarraju, which also marked his second collaboration with son Naga Chaitanya after Manam. The actor will also be seen in the highly-anticipated Hindi movie, Brahmāstra.
