Bigg Boss Tamil season 7: Fans call Bava Chelladurai's exit 'a wasted opportunity'

The writer and playwright left the shown after the very first week

It's been only a week since the seventh season of the popular chat show Bigg Boss Tamil began airing. And within a week author, writer, playwright and storyteller Bava Chelladurai has left the house citing health reasons.

Bava's special request to Bigg Boss
Bava Chelladurai told Bigg Boss in the confession room that he could not handle the pressure in the house and that he wanted to leave the show at the earliest. He added that there was absolutely no room for negotiation. He added that the fellow housemates had taken good care of him inside the house and treated him like their father, he couldn't take the pressure anymore. Bigg Boss later stated that he would let him go on physical and mental health grounds.

When Bava added if he needed to tell the housemates, Bigg Boss added that he would tell them himself and that he need not worry about the same.

When the host of the show, Kamal Haasan asked the contestants whom they thought would be the first contestant to leave the house, many cited the name of Bava. Some stated that the writer wasn't actively involved in the activities of the house and that his presence was felt only during the storytelling session. Some also complained that his lack of involvement in any activity was a major dampener.

However, when the name of Ananya Rao was announced as the first person to be evicted from the task, it took everyone by surprise.

Bava, not the first person to leave the show midway
It is to be noted that Oviya, who became a household name in the first season of the reality show, was the first person to leave the show midway. The actress had left the show on mental health grounds. Later, actor Bharani, who tried to escape from the house after trying to jump over the wall, was let go. Actor Shri, who complained of declining mental health was allowed to leave the show.
