The reality show will be streamed live 24x7 on Voot, for six weeks, starting from 8pm today,
Bigg Boss OTT has been a matter of excitement and eagerness for the fans ever since the show was announced. After a lot of confusion and discussion regarding its host and contestants, the show is finally ready for its premiere from August 8, today. The show will be hosted by Bollywood filmmaker Karan Johar, much to the surprise and delight of fans.
The reality show will be streamed live 24x7 on Voot, for six weeks, starting from 8pm today. Bigg Boss OTT will not have a television premiere and it will only be streamed on Viacom’s streaming platform.
The confirmed contestants of the grand show includes Divya Agarwal, Rakesh Bapat, Ridhima Pandit, Milind Gaba, Urfi Javed, Zeeshan Khan and Karan Nath among others. Upholding the theme ‘Stay Connected’, the viewers will also have the chance to participate in the show by deciding tasks, punishments and even eliminations for the contestants.
The crew had earlier released a promo video of the show that featured the host Karan Johar, who was seen sharing the details of the digital show. On working with Bigg Boss OTT, Karan Johar said how he has always been a big fan of the show. The filmmaker-turned-actor also added that he is eager to explore the new digital elements of the show and looking forward to seeing what kinds of punishments the audience gives.
The makers had dropped a video on social media the previous day featuring glimpses of the Bigg Boss OTT house. It gave the audience a sneak peek into the grand house including the hall, bedroom, bathroom, workout areas, kitchen and dining area. The beautiful garden adds up to the contestants’ amusement, which gives them a space to spend some quality time and to participate in some tricky Bigg Boss tasks.

Those contestants who top in Bigg Boss OTT performances will be featured in Bigg Boss 15, which will be hosted by Salman Khan, and will premiere on television in September.
