Not many know that the established rapper-singer Yo Yo Honey Singh’s real name is Hirdesh Singh. Best known for his today’s songs and rap, Yo Yo Honey Singh reached dizzying heights with his songs which were once a national craze. But then, for reasons best known to him, he simply vanished from the music scene and started being in the news for many wrong reasons. But it seems that, the singer has left all his past behind and has given another shot with life. The resultant is his latest album which has been titled 'Honey 3.0'.

The latest update about Yo Yo Honey Singh is that, he has been approached to be a part of ‘Bigg Boss OTT 2’, as per a source close to OTTplay. The source added that, “Ever since the time the singer became an overnight sensation with his chartbuster tracks like ‘Chaar bottle vodka’, ‘Brown Eyes’, ‘Desi Kalaakaar’, the singer has a cult fan following if his own. And what better than a platform like ‘Bigg Boss OTT 2’ for the singer to speak to his fans to show the real self and prove his detractors wrong”. The source also added that, even though Yo Yo Honey Singh has not given his confirmation, the makers of the show are optimistic about his participation.

As for Bigg Boss OTT 2, unlike last season, this season will be hosted by Salman Khan himself, who will also be hosting the main format of the reality show. While Yo Yo Honey Singh’s participation stills stands undecided in the show, the names which are being tossed around as participants of ‘Bigg Boss OTT 2’ include Anjali Arora, Awez Darbar, Mahesh Poojary (creative producer), Pooja Gor, Jiya Shankar, Poonam Pandey, Rajeev Sen among others.
