He goes by the name of Puneet Superstar and is nothing less than a phenomenal sensation in himself. After having started off with humble beginnings, this man refused to bow down his head before failures in social media. With consistency as the keyword, Puneet Superstar was adamant to succeed on social media. Ladies and gentleman, let’s put out hands together for the one and only Puneet Superstar whose real name is Abhishek Mallan, who is now all set to mesmerize everyone inside the Bigg Boss OTT 2 house.

Hi Puneet Superstar! Are there butterflies in the stomach?
I am feeling normal now. But I did have my share of butterflies when I had entered the Bigg Boss OTT 2 house.

Any idea as to why have the makers named you as ‘Superstar’? Are you a bigger superstar than even Salman Khan?
Bilkul… I am a bigger superstar than even Salman Khan. I am the comedy king Puneet Kumar Superstar. I am the superstar in all the aspect. Be it social media, be it TV channels and even the TV news rooms who will be getting their channel’s TRP through me… I do not consider myself as a superstar, but the junta considers me as a superstar. That’s why I am the superstar.

Just like there is only one lion in the jungle, same way, there is only one superstar in the entire Bigg Boss universe, which is Salman Khan. What’s your plan? Are you planning to give him some ‘takkar’?
Salman bhai had called me at 2 am yesterday night. And when I had signed the contract of ‘Bigg Boss’ I had told them that, if I reach the finale, then, they will have to give me a chartered plane so that I can fly directly from here to my house. In addition to that, I had also asked them for an island and Rs. 5000 crores in Swiss Bank. Even though mine was a different demand, still, the makers agreed to my demands. They agreed only because, they must be knowing that, they will be getting the required from me. Let me tell you this, that, ‘Bigg Boss OTT 2’ will get TRP through Puneet Superstar and not the other way round! The reason is because, the other name for Puneet Superstar is TRP and the other name for TRP is Puneet Superstar.

Puneet Superstar, you are talking in terms of crores and crores of rupees now. But there was a video in which you were literally requesting everyone to help you with your car loan of Rs. Six lakhs! Maajra kya hai bhai? (What’s the real matter brother?)
The real matter is that, I had a property worth Rs. 48,000 crores. And I a few days back, I was roaming in Thailand sea with all the cash. And to my bad luck, all the money fell in the sea. That’s why I was requesting everyone to help me with the car’s interest money. But now, with me coming in Bigg Boss OITT 2, it’s a given that I will be the winner and I stand to gain Rs. 5000 crores. That’s why I had requested the bank officials to wait for sometime so that I can pay back RS. 12,000 as my car’s interest.

And what will you do with that money? Make a film in which you will be the hero, as that was your dream naa?
That WAS my dream once upon a time that I wanted to be a film’s hero. But, now, after I win Bigg Boss, I will be richer by Rs. 5000 crores. The moment I get that money, I will immediately buy Goregaon’s Film City, the entire set of Bigg Boss so that I can start my own show of Bigg Boss wherein I can get my chosen people as contestants on the show.

Are you carrying any good luck charm to ensure your success on the show?
I feel that, so far 90 percent of Bigg Boss contestants are total fake as they have a new face everywhere, which changes as per time and situation. I am a real person. What you see is what you get, both, on screen and off screen. I am carrying my mother’s blessings, my own style of comedy. The moment I enter the house, the camera will be friend and no one else.

Who do you think is a better host for BBOTT 2: Salman Khan or Karan Johar?
The whole world considers Salman Khan as the best host. After him, if at all, anyone qualifies to be the superstar, then, it will definitely be Puneet Superstar. In all possibilities, Salmanbhai may just hand over the hosting position to me after he retires.

Which Bollywood celebrity guest do you want to meet inside the house?
Sunny Deol ji.

Will you be doing comedy even before Sunny Deol?
I will not change my comedy and my comic sense for anyone. But, for Sunny Deol ji, there will be a huge respect. And if possible, I would want to give him a hug.

Are you short tempered?
Not really. I always stay away from anger and negativity. I feel that the person who gets angry will never be successful in life. I will never hurt anyone through my comedy inside the Bigg Boss house.

Do you think that the Bigg Boss show is scripted?
Even it was, it would have been till the time Puneet Superstar entered the house. Once, me… Puneet Superstar enter the ‘Bigg Boss’ house, I will script my own success story.

Are you super excited to meet your co-contestants inside the Bigg Boss house?
More than me meeting them, many of them will be super excited to meet Puneet Superstar.

What’s your strategy which will help escape the elimination process?
Let me enter the house. Only then, I will get to know the journey and the process.

What, in your opinion, are the qualities that you have that will make you a winner?
By BEING REAL before everyone.
