You might remember him as Shlok Agnihotri in Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon? Ek Baar Phir. If not, you would surely know him as Dev in Chotti Bahu. The same actor, Avinash Sachdev, is now a part of Bigg Boss OTT season 2.

He has been roped in for the show, hosted by Salman Khan. The same goes live today in a few hours. Avinash will be introduced and he will get to meet his ex-girlfriend, Palak Purswani on the show in a few hours. Drama is sure to unfold, for they were together since four years and parted ways last year.

Avinash started his career as an assistant director. He worked on the TV show, Hatim, when he was 18. The actor also assisted Farhan Akhtar on Rock On!!

Made cameo in 2006, followed by a negative role

He made his cameo on TV back in 2006 with Karam Apnaa Apnaa. Avinash then went on to play negative characters in Khwaish and Kis Desh Mein Hai Meraa Dil (2008).

Fame with Chotti Bahu

The actor became recognized in the role of Dev in Chotti Bahu, which also released in 2008. The show also featured Bigg Boss 14 winner Rubina Dilaik.

Associated with Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon? Ek Baar Phir

Avinash landed the sequel of Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon and worked on it from 2013-2015. He portrayed an arrogant businessman, Shlok Agnihotri, on the show.

He was a part of Qubool Hai and Balika Vadhu, too

The actor was seen in Qubool Hai 4, in the role of Armaan Raza Sheikh. He then appeared in Balika Vadhu – Lamhe Pyaar Ke in 2016.

Bigg Boss OTT 2 not his first reality show

Avinash has been a part of reality TV shows. He was seen in Nach Baliye 2, interestingly, with Palak. She, too, is a contestant on Bigg Boss OTT 2.
