Bigg Boss OTT 2 August 3, 2023 Live Update: Abhishek Malhan beats Pooja Bhatt, becomes the final captain and gets 'ticket to finale'

Bebika mentions that Jiya should get evicted first as she has garnered the limelight with her fakeness.

Fukra Insaan and Bebika are seen having a fun conversation about their future kid and how they are going to be. Moving on, Abhishek Malhan asks Avinash why he is not working out together, to which the latter replies that he tried to make him understand that he is thinking way too much about Jiya Shankar, which he took personally.

Post that, Jiya and Avinash talk about the same matter and conclude that Jad is overreacting. On the other hand, Jad talks about it to Pooja, who advises him to not overthink and just go with the flow.

Moving on, Jiya can be seen talking to Manisha Rani and Elvish Yadav and explain ing how Jad is overreacting to whatever happened between them in the last few days.

Talking about the eviction, Abhishek shares that he thinks Jad will go out first and Avinash will follow. Meanwhile, Bebika mentions that Jiya should get evicted first as she has garnered limelight with her fakeness.

Bigg Boss announces a new captaincy task that will be fought between Pooja and Abhishek, whoever wins gets the ticket to the finale. The competition is about a fruit basket where the other contestants will gather fruits in their favourite player's basket, while a few people will also try to drop the fruits from the competitor's basket.

Manisha, Jiya and Elvish help Abhishek, while Jad, Avinash, and Bebika help Pooja with the task. During destroying each other's basket, Avinash, Abhishek, as well as Jad, get a little injured. After that, Pooja appeals to Bigg Boss to abort the game because she can't see people getting hurt. However, the game continues.

Bigg Boss pauses the game midway and reads the rule of the game again and mentions, "Only the two contenders are allowed to take fruits from each other's basket and save their own by the opposite person."

Pooja tells Bigg Boss that she won't be able to physically stop Abhishek and she also has a shoulder injury. Bigg Boss asks Pooja if she wants a representative, to which the latter replies that she would like Jad's help. Pooja and Jad swap their positions and the task begins again.

At the end of the task, Abhishek gets the most number of fruits in his basket and wins the game. Bigg Boss congratulates him for becoming the final captain of the house and becomes the first finalist of Bigg Boss OTT 2.

Pooja congratulates her competition but also tells Abhishek that he didn't play fair as he again lost his cool during the task.

Abhishek's temper becomes the talk of the house and his remark on Avinash's age takes the limelight again. Pooja gets teary-eyed as she starts reminiscing about the fights and violence that occurred during the task. After cooling a bit down, the social media influencer realises that he should have said that to Avinash as well as shouldn't have lost his temper in the task. He stands up and goes to Pooja and apologises to her for his immature behaviour.
