Bigg Boss Malayalam 5 April 19, 2023 Written Update: Omar Lulu becomes the second wild card entrant of the season

Mohanlal reveals the reason why he met with the contestants so early in the week.

Mohanlal addresses how he came to meet the contestants early this week, on a Wednesday rather than the weekend like he usually does. He says that there’s a special reason for this, which he will reveal through the course of the episode. He revisits what happened in the show over the last two days, especially the chaotic Chakravyuh task, as well as Gopika’s arguments with Sobha, Junaiz and Sagar.

The host meets the housemates and wows them with his Japanese, wishing Devu a belated Happy Birthday. He then goes on to quiz the housemates about Japan. He says that he is going on holiday to Japan for a while,and asks them which one of his movies he had shot in Japan almost 40 years ago. The housemates are unable to answer, and he reveals that it is called Ini Enkilum.

Vishnu is oblivious to the proceedings, and Mohanlal asks to call him from the bathroom. The host pulls Junaiz’s leg on his new haircut. He then went on to dissect Gopika and Sobha’s disagreement, as well as Gopika’s other arguments. The housemates also expressed their appreciation of Sobha’s captaincy and the food. Gopika was the only one who said that she was not okay with Sobha’s captaincy, saying she tried to do a lot of work herself.

Mohanlal then plays a game wherein the housemates are required to put garlands onto each other based on some criterion Mohanlal says.

The host then welcomes director Omar Lulu onto the Bigg Boss dais. The Nalla Samayam director jokes that his time does not seem to be very good at the moment, and is all set to enter the Bigg Boss house as the second wild card entrant of the season.

Mohanlal teases the contestants by saying that Omar is a director who entered the house to audition the housemates for his new movie.
