In the most recent episode, newly-elected captain Anupama Gowda revealed that Vinod Gobbaragala has been hospitalised and that he would not be able to participate in any of the upcoming tasks inside the house
Bigg Boss Kannada Season 9 is well into the sixth week with five of the eighteen contestants already eliminated from the show. Although the finale is still many weeks away, one can sense the audience picking its favourites among the lot and names like Rakesh Adiga, Roopesh Shetty, and Aryavardhan crop up in this regard. Also seen as a top contender is Vinod Gobbaragala of Giccha Giligili fame who, through his unassuming ways and sincerity, has emerged as a crowd-favourite to win the competition.
However, it would seem that Vinod has encountered a blip on his way as the latest reports reveal that he is temporarily out of the show due to health concerns. In the most recent episode, newly-elected captain Anupama Gowda revealed that Vinod Gobbaragala has been hospitalised and that he would not be able to participate in any of the upcoming tasks inside the house. Vinod, who was present during the recent round of eliminations on Sunday, is said to have exited the house on health grounds but is expected to return at the earliest.
Known for his stints on Kannada reality shows like Giccha Giligili, Maja Bharatha, and Dancing Champion, Vinod Gobbaragala entered the Bigg Boss Kannada house as one of the nine newbies and began to show promise right off the bat. Fellow contestants and voting audiences alike have seen him put on great performances in team tasks and also be elected the house captain quite early on.
On the other hand, Neha Gowda became the fifth newbie on the trot to be eliminated from the show which has prompted a few remarks from the netizens. Many wonder if the veterans such as Prashanth Sambargi, Anupama Gowda, and Deepika Das are being favoured over the new batch of contestants and if so, Bigg Boss Kannada fans have urged the makers to balance the ratio.
