Bigg Boss Kannada Season 9: Darsh Chandrappa becomes third contestant to be evicted from the show

Darsh Chandrappa joins Aishwarya Pissay and Nawaz on the list of eliminated contestants so far in season 9.

The ongoing season 9 of Bigg Boss Kannada is in full swing and has seen off yet another week that brimmed with budding relationships, tensions, and of course, the drama around nominations. In keeping the tradition alive, the third week of the show saw another contestant be eliminated and this time around, the audience chose to vote out Darsh Chandrappa. The actor-entrepreneur, who has had back-to-back narrow escapes from the elimination zone so far, becomes the third contestant to be evicted from Bigg Boss Kannada Season 9.

The recently-concluded week saw 10 of the remaining 16 contestants nominated - namely, Roopesh Rajanna, Prashanth Sambargi, Darsh Chandrappa, Divya Uruduga, Deepika Das, Mayuri Kyatari, Vinod Gobbaragala, Roopesh Shetty, Amulya Gowda, and Anupama Gowda.

Darsh had entered the house with a lot of promise and the contestant in him too seemed keen on trying out the 100-day challenge. However, things began on a slightly dull note for the young actor who found himself confused and unaware of the quirks of the Bigg Boss household - the fact that fellow contestant Prashanth Sambargi singled him out on certain occasions in week #1, causing him to scrutinized by the other housemates, could be deemed as a small contributing factor to his elimination.

During his chat with host Kiccha Sudeep post the eviction, Darsh Chandrappa shared that he wasn’t sure about his methods to deal with all the different personalities inside the house and that he could not analyze them properly. He added that he took each setback as a lesson and tried his best to grow as an individual in the competition but, perhaps, it all came about a bit too late.

Following his elimination, Darsh was given the opportunity to nominate one of the remaining 15 contestants for the next week’s eliminations and he announced Roopesh Shetty to be his pick. “I feel Roopesh has a lot more potential than what he showcases here so, I want to see him challenged a little more,” said Darsh to justify his selection.
