It’s been over two years since Kannada superstar Kiccha Sudeep has been seen on the big screen. During this time, he has hosted 2 seasons of Bigg Boss Kannada, 1 OTT mini-season, and done 2 seasons of Celebrity Cricket League as well. His absence from the big screen and the diminishing quality of contestants and the content on Bigg Boss Kannada had irked fans, so much so that during Bigg Boss Kannada Season 10, there were a lot of requests urging Sudeep to give up hosting duties.

Here’s a look at the tentative contestant list of Bigg Boss Kannada Season 11

Huli Karthik – Comedian Karthik is the winner of Season 3 of Gicchi Giligili. He is expected to provide enough laugh-worthy moments on the show.

Aishwarya Rangarajan – Popular playback singer Aishwarya Rangarajan, who has dabbled with acting on TV and done a ‘reel’ series, is one of the commonly heard names for Season 11.

Advithi Shetty – One half of the Mr and Mrs Ramachari fame twin duo, actress and danseuse Advithi Shetty is a hot favorite to enter the house

Prema – Veteran actress Prema who ruled Kannada cinema in the 90s and early 2000s, and is best known for films like Om, Nammoora Mandara Hoove, and Upendra, among many others, is on the list of tentative contestants this season.

Manasa Santhosh – Bigg Boss Kannada Season 10 finalist Tukali Santhosh’s wife Manasa showed that she is quite the entertainer, every time she was put in the spotlight, never missing an opportunity to pull her husband’s leg.

Amulya Bharadwaj – TV actress Amulya’s most recent serial Brindavana has just ended, which has fuelled speculation that she may take up Bigg Boss Kannada 11 next.

Sukrutha Nag – Agnisakshi and Lakshana fame actress Sukrutha is on the list of probable contestants.

Gouthami Jadav – Satya serial fame Gouthami

If the promo of Season 11 is anything to go by, this time too, the tasks for the contestants will be designed to promote rather unhealthy competitive spirits, bordering on physical violence, as was seen in Season 10, when Sangeetha Sringeri and Drone Pratap were waterboarded with water containing harsh detergent soap, among others.
