Many would know that Varthur Santhosh recently found himself in a big legal conundrum after he was found guilty of possessing and wearing a tiger claw pendant.
It's been an intense few weeks inside the Bigg Boss Kannada Season 10 house as tensions continue to surge among contestants. While the show traditionally offers a good mix of both endearing and stressful moments, Season 10 thus far has seen quite a few rifts and altercations which have even led to Kiccha Sudeep, the host, to intervene on a number of occasions already (we are still in week #5, mind you).

But the concluding episode of the fifth week is likely to supersede everything else that has happened and it's none other than Varthur Santhosh, once again, who finds himself in the thick of the drama.
According to the latest buzz, Varthur Santhosh has opted to quit the show mid-way owing to unexplained reasons and that he will make his way out of the competition instead of Nithu Vaanjaksshi, the contestant voted out by the viewers. Colours Kannada, the chief broadcaster of the show, released a promo from the Sunday elimination episode which shows Varthur Santhosh emotionally confiding in host Sudeep that despite all the love he has got from the audience, he is unable to continue being a part of Bigg Boss Kannada Season 10.
It is at this point that Sudeep reveals that Santhosh has actually received 34,15,472 votes in favour of his nomination, leaving everyone inside the Bigg Boss house gasping. Evidently, Varthur Santhosh is among the favourites to go on and win the competition but the recent events are likely to have influenced his decision to walk out of the show.
Many would know that Varthur Santhosh found himself in a big legal conundrum owing to his possession of a real tiger-claw pendant. It was a couple of weeks ago that he was arrested by the forest department officials from the Bigg Boss Kannada Season 10 house after a complaint was raised against him for possessing and wearing a tiger claw pendant. This, we learnt, was in violation of the Wild Life (Protection) Act, 1972.
He was granted bail on October 27 following which he resumed his Bigg Boss Kannada Season 10 journey.
As far as his recent plea to leave the show is concerned, Bigg Boss Kannada fans would know that something similar had occurred during Season 8 when Vyjayanti Adiga had opted to exit the show. She would, in turn, save the already-eliminated contestant Shamanth 'Bro' Gowda and left both fellow housemates and also the viewers perplexed over her decision.
