The comedian had sustained an injury to his leg that needed medical attention outside the house and there is no news on if and when he will return to the show.
The tasks on the reality show Bigg Boss Kannada are getting more difficult and physically taxing by the day. A week into the first Bigg Boss Kannada OTT season and two contestants are already injured. While comedian Lokesh hurt his leg during one of the tasks, house captain Arjun Ramesh’s arm is currently in a sling, having injured his shoulder.
Lokesh’s injury did not seem troublesome at first, but he had to later seek medical attention outside the house. It remains unknown if Lokesh will return to the show and when. There is a buzz that actor-politician Arjun Ramesh may also leave the show shortly owing to this unforeseen injury. Arjun, who is considered one of the front-runners to emerge victorious and proceed to Bigg Boss Kannada Season 9, may stay on in the spirit of sportsmanship.
This evening is when the first elimination process is scheduled to happen. But with the house already down by one contestant and the likelihood of another also leaving on medical grounds, audiences say that there may not be an elimination after all.
On Day 2, when the nomination process was initiated, barring Somanna Machimada, Jashwanth and Nandu and Chythrra Hallikeri, everyone else was up for nomination. If it is down to votes, the buzz now is that the contestant leaving the house could be Sonu Srinivas Gowda, Kiran Yogeshwar, Jayshree Aradhya or Akshata Kuki.
Social media influencer Sonu Srinivas Gowda’s entry into Bigg Boss was not a very popular decision. But it remains that she has close to 800k followers on social media, so she could scrape through in the voting process. Kiran and Jayshree are yet to build a strong fan following, while Akshata’s recent stint in the Bigg Boss jail has changed popular opinion about her.
The weekend episode with Sudeep will stream at 7 pm tonight. Voting to save contestants closed at 10 am this morning.
