It's been a week almost ever since the grand finale of the Salman Khan-hosted show Bigg Boss 18 took place. Karan Veer Mehra lifted the trophy as he received the maximum votes while Vivian Dsena ended up becoming the runner-up. Days after the finale, Vivian and his wife Nouran Aly hosted a party for their friends including the Bigg Boss 18 contestants. Celebs like Avinash Mishra, Eisha Singh, Chaahat Pandey, Ankita Lokhande, Vicky Jain, Munawar Faruqui, Arfeen Khan, Sara Arfeen Khan, Edin Rose and Yamini Malhotra were seen gracing the party. Karan, Shilpa Shirodkar, Chum Darang, Rajat Dalal, and Digvijay Rathee were nowhere to be seen. Now, in an interview, the winner of season 18 broke his silence and revealed the reason behind his absence.
In the show, Karan and Vivian revealed they have been friends for 12 years. But despite knowing each other from before, they were not seen playing together. In fact, their bond was affected and they ended up bitching about each other. Now, at the recently held party, Karan's absence grabbed everyone's attention. While speaking to the YouTube channel Shuddh Manoranjan, he confirmed that he wasn't invited to Vivian's party.
He said, "It's no big deal. If Vivian had invited me, I'd have gone, but since he didn't, it's fine." Mehra further said that if he would host a bash, he would invite everyone. He added, "If I host a bash, I'll invite everyone, including you (the host)! I have a big heart."
Even Chum Darang, who finished the Bigg Boss 18 journey in the fifth spot wasn't invited to the party. She revealed during her recent appearance in the city. When the paparazzi asked her about the absence, she said, "For me to attend, I'd first need an invitation."
