Bigg Boss 18 grand premiere: Salman Khan introduces Tajinder Singh Bagga, Shrutika, Nyrraa Banerji and Chum Darang - all you need to know about them

Salman Khan hosted Bigg Boss 18 had its grand premiere tonight, October 6 on JioCinema and Colors TV. This time, the show will have a unique theme of Time Ka Taandav. After introducing Chahat Pandey, Shehzada Dhami, and Avinash Mishra, the superstar host introduced us to the other contestants such as Tajinder Singh Bagga, Shrutika, Nyrraa Banerji and Chum Darang.

The BJP leader is associated with the political party's youth wing Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha. He founded the organization Bhagat Singh Kranti Sena, which he called a "nationalist task force against traitors, anti-nationals and corrupts."

In 2011, he gained fame and when he disrupted Arundhati Roy’s book launch at the India Habitat Centre in Delhi and slapped Prashant Bhushan in his Supreme Court chambers. After PM Narendra Modi came to power in 2014, he began the website NaMo Patrika. Due to his fame, Modi met Bagga at his official residence in 2015.

Who is Shrutika Arjun?

Another contestant of Bigg Boss 18 Shrutika gained attention with her roles in Tamil and Malayalam films. She made her mark with the film Shree in 2002. Thithikudhe (2003), and Nala Damayanthi (2003). During her introduction at the BB house, Shruthika expressed her immanse love for Salman Khan.

JioCinema introduced her and captioned, "Cooking aur comedy ke combination se @shrutika_arjun ne jeeta sabka dil, silver screen ki yeh beauty, kya kar payegi Bigg Boss 18 ka bhi title seal?"

Nyrraa Banerji is known for her role in Pishachini. She was last seen on Khatron Ke Khiladi 13. Notably, she has been offered Bigg Boss several times over the last 4-5 years.

Introducing her, the streaming platform captioned their Instagram post, "Tollywood, Bollywood aur TV ki hai yeh star. Khele khatron se, dikhaye dance se apna kamaal. Kya Bigg Boss 18 mein bhi @nyra_banerjee kar payegi dhamaal?"

Who is Chum Darang?

Another Bigg Boss 18 contestant Chum Darang hails from Arunachal Pradesh. She has won several beauty pageants. For the unversed, she has also starred in Rajkummar Rao and Bhumi Pednekar’s Badhaai Do and Alia Bhatt’s Gangubai Kathiawadi.

Sharing a photo of her, JioCinema introduced her, "Ek aisi queen jo har pageant title hain laayi, kya milegi Chum Darang ko Bigg Boss 18 ke ghar mein bhi badhaai?"

Meanwhile, Bigg Boss 18 premiered on Colors TV. It will air from Monday to Sunday. The show will also live-stream on the Jio Cinema App.
