Bigg Boss 18 and its controversies are never-ending! Ahead of the reality show's end, a new controversy sparked online. It was recently reported that Eisha Singh paid 30% of her Bigg Boss 18 and struck a deal with makers to secure a spot in the grand finale. This development left the internet divided, with people criticizing the authenticity of the show. These allegations also prompted the actress' mother to break her silence on the matter.
In an interview with The Times of India, Eisha Singh's mother said it breaks her heart to see her daughter's hard-earned reputation 'being attacked' with baseless allegations.
"Eisha has always considered her fans an extended family, and it’s devastating to see such false claims causing her and her supporters unnecessary hurt and distress. I humbly request everyone to stand by her and respect her integrity during this challenging time," she said.
Eisha's lawyer Ali Kaashif Khan also issued a statement. "On behalf of Ms. Eisha Singh, who is currently inside Bigg Boss 18, I am warning of serious legal consequences if any defamatory or baseless claims continue to be propagated," a portion of the statement read.
The actress' lawyer further mentioned that speculations about Eisha paying 30% of her Bigg Boss 18 fee for the finale spot are false. The lawyer revealed that notice had been sent to the media outlet to retract the article. "We have granted them 15 days to act on our demand, failing which we shall be compelled to take necessary legal remedies, including filing a defamation suit," the statement read.
Meanwhile, Bigg Boss 18 has got its top six contestants. Karan Veer Mehra, Eisha Singh, Avinash Mishra, Chum Darang, Rajat Dalal, and Vivian Dsena are competing against each other to win the Salman Khan-hosted show.
