Actress Debchandrima Singha Roy, who plays Lolita in Hoichoi’s Paineeta, went to Mumbai to shoot the serial Suhagan Chudail. She then posted on social media declaring the end of the serial. In Mumbai, she concentrated on her Hindi pronunciation since she aimed for many more projects there. 

Debchandrima is not surprised about the ending of Suhagan Chudail. She told Anandabazar Online, “We knew that we were selected for the first season. We don't know whether we will be selected in the next season. We knew that the first season would end here and hence were not surprised. Also, the longevity of television serials has reduced nowadays. This one has ended. Perhaps something better will come.” 

Debchandrima said she did not plan for her next project. She will do it with time. “We finished the shooting yesterday. It is not yet decided what I will do in the future. I have time and will work slowly.”

Debchandrima has been offered to join Bigg Boss 18, hosted by Salman Khan. But she turned down that offer. “I am not joining the show this year since I need more preparation. I can try later. Right now, I want to do more work. People should know who Debchandrima is,” she said. 

Nia Sharma played the vamp in Suhagan Chudail. She and Debchandrima were enemies on the screen. But in reality, they have a good relationship, Debchandrima said. 

Debchandrima’s Parineeta received positive reviews overall. The show which also features Gaurav Chakrabarty was dropped on Hoichoi on August 15.
