Munawar Faruqui took home Rs 50 lakhs and a luxurious car as well with the Bigg Boss 17 trophy
Munawar Faruqui has been declared the winner of Bigg Boss 17. He went on to talk about winning the trophy but it did not end with the trophy. Munawar spoke to the media and revealed about the one thing he gained from the show. Can you guess what that could be?
What Munawar gained from Bigg Boss 17 apart from the trophy
“Main ek behtar Munawar ko bahaar lekar aaya hoon,” he said, promising that his actions in life will prove the same. The winner said that he is very grateful and has no regrets (about joining the show, where his ex-girlfriend Ayesha Khan was also a contestant).

Why there’s no regret
Munawar explained that he is grateful that he was tested at a place which was in the public eye. Thus, Munawar Ki Janta could see what he’s like and supported him despite it all. “Humein tumhaara zakhm nahi dekhna. Uske alaava jo poora jism hai jo khoobsurat hai woh dekhna hai,” he said, while referring to how his fans understood that he made mistakes as any human would but also learned which not everybody does.
Munawar beat Abhishek to be the winner
Munawar was competing with Abhishek Kumar for the Bigg Boss 17 trophy. Salman announced Munawar’s name but since the comedian was not sure if it was a joke or reality, Salman had to confirm that Munawar was indeed the winner of the show. Mannara Chopra was with Abhishek and Munawar in top three, while Ankita Lokhande became the third runner-up.
Munawar, the clear winner
Lock Upp winner Munawar was loved throughout his stint on Bigg Boss 17 and the love only grew after Ayesha’s entry on the show, when he faced his hardest battles on the platform. At the grand finale, according to the initial votes, Munawar was leading and was the clear winner, while Ankita came in close competition. Surprisingly though, things changed by the time the grand finale actually took place.
