Bigg Boss 17: Soniya Bansal becomes the first contestant to be ELIMINATED from the show!

It’s only been two weeks that the most watched reality show ‘Bigg Boss 17’ has started. And the show has already seen its share of ego clashes, motherhood, flaring up of angers and also ‘love in the care’! This week saw Salman Khan’s extremely famous ‘Weekend Kaa Waar’, wherein the superstar comes face to face with the contestants.

Today’s episode was truly a remarkable one. The reason? Well… today saw the first ever elimination of the show. For the unversed, the contestants who were nominated for this week are Sana Raees Khan, Sunny Arya, KhanZaadi, Aishwarya Sharma, Neil Bhatt and Soniya Bansal. And the one to be eliminated this week was Soniya Bansal. As for Soniya Bansal, the channel released a new promo today, wherein they had showed her flirting with Munawar Faruqui, in which she asked him to ‘palat’ (to turn around), a cue from the famous scene from the superhit film ‘Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge’, which featured Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol in the said scene!

As for Soniya Sharma, she is basically an actress and a model by profession, who hails from North of India. Before she entered the show, she had claimed that she had come to the show without any footwear because she was called to participate in the show at the last moment! As for her professional front, this light eyed beauty started her career in showbiz as a model. As a natural progression, Soniya Bansal, then, entered films as a leading lady.

She made her Bollywood debut with Shakti Kapoor’s film ‘Game 100 Crore Ka’ and 'Naughty Gang’. Besides that, she had also been a part of Disney+ Hotstar’s series ‘Shoorveer’ and a few music videos. Now that Soniya Bansal is out of the show, the show’s makers announced a surprise entry of Manasvi Mamgai, as a wild card entry. As of now, the Bigg Boss 17 house is home to contestants including Mannara Chopra, Ankita Lokhande, Vicky Jain, Rinku Dhawan, Neil Bhatt, Aishwarya Sharma, Munawar Faruqui, Abhishek Kumar, Isha Malviya, Arun Mashettey, Sunny Arya, Firoza Khan aka Khanzaadi, Sana Raees Khan, Jigna Vora, Anurag Dobhal, Navid Sole and Mannara Chopra.
