Munawar Faruqui has started distancing himself from Mannara Chopra even more since Ayesha Khan's entry on Bigg Boss 17
Salman Khan has called out Munawar Faruqui’s double standards with Mannara Chopra. This happened during the Weekend Ka Vaar episode on Bigg Boss 17. For the uninitiated, Munawar, who was good friends with Mannara till recently, stopped talking to her after claiming that he feels ‘weird vibes’ from her. Munawar has sidelined Mannara, while she tries to keep their friendship alive on the show often. This has become more evident since Munawar’s ex, Ayesha Khan, entered the show as a wild card contestant. Salman addressed the same during the episode.
What did Salman say
Salman Khan was heard telling Munawar, “According to Munawar, Mannara has no sense of humour if a wild card contestant (referring to Ayesha) passes a comment on individuality for her. When Mannara has the same taunt, where does Munawar’s sense of humour go?”
Host asks Munawar where is his respect for Mannara, who also stood by him
Salman then reminded Munawar that while Mannara also stood by him during his lowest phase, he has only respected Ankita Lokhande and Rinku Dhawan’s efforts. The host then tells Mannara that she appears very needy and desperate for attention thanks to the situation. Hearing him, she realizes what she needs to work on.
What’s the deal with Munawar and Mannara?
Munawar had previously said that Mannara goes off a weird vibe. Salman questioned the same by asking Munawar if she was the one who built up a wall in their relationship or him.
The changing equation
Before Ayesha’s entry on the show, people bashed Mannara on the internet. However, after seeing Munawar distancing himself from Mannara since the entry, their views have changed. They have now started respecting Mannara even more than Munawar. Whether the two can be friends again though, in a sense that is liked by all, remains to be seen.
