A new promo from Bigg Boss 17 is out. It sees Salman Khan in the role of a bomb disposal specialist. Did it also remind you of Shah Rukh Khan from Jab Tak Hai Jaan? Salman has brought a twist to it. This time, the actor-host does dhamaka as a promise of delivering lots of fireworks on his TV show. He even burns his clothes and wipes it off, which is a stunt pulled off by Akshay Kumar in the past. “Aag se khelaayenge,” he promises in the promo.

In the promo, the host is heard saying, “Yeh bhi koi bomb hai, let it go,” only to add, “Isse bhi explosive sadasya aayenge.” Bigg Boss confirms the same saying, “Jigar mein jinke dum, unka suswagatam.”

Theme of Bigg Boss 17

While the original theme of the show was believed to be singles vs couples, Salman has revealed that it will be dil, dimaag aur dum. While there isn’t much information on what that means, one can expect that the contestants will be put through some tough tasks throughout the season.

Will Bigg Boss play?

Bigg Boss played a major role in Bigg Boss 16. He irked the contestants and was constantly involved with everything they did. This time too, Salman’s caption hints, that Bigg Boss will be playing his own game. “Jinke seene mein ho jigar, unko Bigg Boss ke dil, dimaag aur dum, se kya hogi fikar,” the actor shared with the promo. This is a direct hint that Bigg Boss will be torturing the contestants this season too.

When will Bigg Boss 17 commence?

Bigg Boss 17 will begin from October 15. On the day of its premiere, which is a Sunday, the show will begin from 9 pm. It will otherwise stream on Jio Cinema from Monday-Friday at 10 pm and Saturday-Sunday at 9 pm. Whether Bigg Boss OTT 2 contestants will join the show remains to be seen.
