Ayesha Khan gained widespread attention on the internet following an interview where she alleged that a prominent Bigg Boss contestant had approached her while being in a committed relationship, accusing him of 'two-timing.' Netizens speculated it to be Munawar Faruqui, prompting questions directed at him online. Subsequently, the makers of Bigg Boss Season 17 invited Ayesha for a wildcard entry, and she accepted. “I am not that type of girl who struggles to confess her feelings publicly when it's genuine. I wouldn’t have hesitated once to say ‘I Love You’ had I felt the same. You must know that I did not feel secure being around you. Additionally, when I got to know your filthy mindset, I automatically distanced myself from you. It is you who has used my feelings for the game,” said Ayesha Khan.

She added, “At one time you said you had feelings for me and a day later you do not feel that way. So, is it my problem or yours?”

She further said that she is being made to feel as if it’s her fault. “But, it is the other way round,” she said.

Feeling irritated by her presence, Munawar said, “I respect you.” Ayesha wrapped up the conversation by saying that he is not a figure who should command respect in the house. “Jab dikhani thi tab di nahi aur ab bol rahe hai (You did not show respect the time when I needed the most. It’s pointless to show it now.),” she said.

Ayesha Khan's arrival in Bigg Boss 17 has significantly altered the dynamics within the house. Her unexpected entry and revelations against Munawar Faruqui created a major stir among the audience. Even Mannara Chopra – a great loyalist of Munawar on the show, maintains a distance from him.
