Bigg Boss 17 - Abhishek Kumar, Ayesha Khan laugh after Mannara says, ‘The nation wants to know when will I become the captain?’

With just two weeks remaining for the Bigg Boss Season 17 Grand Finale to take place, all contestants on the show are leaving no effort to win the game.

Bigg Boss Season 17, the popular reality show, is gearing up for one of its most thrilling segments as the family members of the contestants prepare to enter the house to meet their loved ones. Ankita Lokhande's mother commended her game, while Vicky's mom expressed the unique experience of her son being away from her for an extended period. Isha and Samarth's parents conveyed their joy at the reunion within the Bigg Boss 17 house. Abhishek Kumar shared the sentiment of missing his son and eagerly anticipating their meeting. Mannara Chopra's sister also conveyed a heartfelt message during this emotional moment.

Mannara Chopra wishes to become a house captain

In conversation with Mitali (Mannara’s sister), Abhishek Kum ar, Ayesha Khan, and her brother, Mannara Chopra said that she eagerly wishes to become the house captain. As per the live feed available on the JioCinema app, Mannara expressed, “Kya Mannara kabhi banegi Bigg Boss 17 ki captain? Pura desh janana chahta hai ki Mannara kab captain banegi. (Will Mannara ever become the captain of Bigg Boss 17? The nation wants to know when I will become the captain.)”

Ayesha Khan and Abhishek Kumar gave a huge laugh in response. Then Abhishek added, “Haan haan. Mannara ko hee banana chahiye. (Yes yes. Mannara should be the one.)”

Notably, Munawar Faruqui, Isha Malviya, and Aoora (who got eliminated recently) have been captains on the show. Ankita Lokhande is the current captain whose tenure will end this weekend.

Host Salman Khan revealed on Sunday that the current season of the reality show Bigg Boss, Season 17, is set to conclude with a grand finale on January 28. The show airs daily on Colors TV and JioCinema. Interestingly, this marks the first time in five years that a season of Bigg Boss won't be receiving an extension, a departure from the extension granted to Bigg Boss 16 last year, which continued for an additional month.
