Bigg Boss 16: The REAL reason Shalin Bhanot disrespected the doctor on Salman Khan’s show revealed

Netizens have been blasting Shalin Bhanot for his ‘shameful’ behaviour on the most recent episode of Big Boss 16. He was seen disrespecting a doctor who was called on the show for his checkup. The host Salman Khan also blasted the TV actor for his arrogance. However, there was a reason behind Shalin’s behaviour and he explained the same over Shanivaar Ka Vaar.

Salman Khan blasts Shalin Bhanot for disrespecting Doctor

After Salman lashed out at the actor over his behaviour, Shalin revealed that he has neurological issues. Thus, he asked the doctor for his qualification because the doctor sent was actually not qualified for the task.

On hearing him, a furious Salman then calmly explained to Shalin that he should have used the same tone and explained to the doctor what his condition was. The host also noted that Shalin was very anxious after the episode. It went to the extent of him chain-smoking in the garden area, which is otherwise prohibited in the house.

Throughout the episode, Shalin had maintained that he has just got his son back and did not want to set a bad example for him, which is why he refrained from doing certain things but they never fell in his favour. Apart from the doctor incident, Shalin was also called out for his equation with Sumbul Touqeer Khan and where he took it.

In a recent episode, Shalin was heard confronting a doctor called by the makers on the show. He demanded to know the doctor’s qualifications. The contestant interrogated the doctor on whether he has an MBBS degree and exclaimed that the doctor was not qualified enough to treat him.

In return, Salman was seen interrogating Shalin about his behaviour with the doctor and said, "Shalin aap khudko dedh samjh rahe ho. I think it's really shameful." Salman then showcased the video where Shalin went into the medical room and rudely confronted the doctor. The host further blasted the contestant by asking him his own qualifications and whether he has any respect for any profession, especially a noble profession like doctor. The Dabangg actor proceeded to establish that Shalin was not a VIP there. Netizens have echoed Salman’s sentiments on Shalin’s unacceptable behaviour and how medical issues are never an excuse to treat somebody this way, and are continuing to call the actor out on Twitter.

Shalin has had certain medical conditions throughout the show and thus, often tells the other housemates that he is advised to have a certain amount of protein intake in a day. He thus believes that all the chicken sent by Bigg Boss is for him.
