Bigg Boss 16 evictions: Tina Datta out of Salman Khan’s show, refuses to acknowledge Shalin Bhanot before leaving

Tina Datta has been evicted from Bigg Boss 16. She was out of the show after being there for as many as 17 weeks. Her journey ended merely two weeks before the grand finale. Farah Khan announced that Tina is out of the show.

Farah stepped in to host Bigg Boss 16 this week on Weekend Ka Vaar. She has replaced Salman Khan, who had prior work commitments and so, could not be there to host Bigg Boss 16 during its extension period.

During Shanivaar Ka Vaar with the contestants, Farah spoke about evictions. Not having the heart to name Tina instantly, she saved Priyanka Chahar Chaudhary and Shiv Thakare. Priyanka, Shiv, Tina and Shalin Bhanot were nominated for evictions this week.

After declaring Priyanka and Shiv safe, Farah named Shalin. Taking a pause of a few seconds, she then asked him who he thinks will be out of the show. Then, Farah eventually announced that Tina is evicted from the show.

Tina was very happy and she met Priyanka and Archana Gautam before going out through the tunnel. Shalin stood by but at a distance, given their past and current equation. Even though Archana asked Tina to give Shalin a hug before leaving, Tina did not do that. She told Archana that she can’t force someone to meet her before she exits the house. With that, Tina left the house with a smile and meeting Priyanka, Archana and Shiv.

This is not the first time that Tina was out of the show. She was evicted for one day when Shalin had to pick between saving Sumbul, Tina or Rs. 10 lakhs. He pressed the buzzer when Tina’s name was taken, after which she was out of the house. This caused a lot of ruckuses inside the house. Shalin and Tina’s equation changed ever since he pressed the buzzer and saved Rs. 10 lakhs. Interestingly, Shalin even got Tina back in the house after giving up the same amount. Archana was his biggest supporter on day one and enemy on day two.

Tina and Shalin grew fond of each other on the show before the episode. After she came back in the house, Tina made various allegations on Shalin. Many tried to warn both about having an equation in the house. Salman called their equation fake along with the whole country and both of them got a scolding week-after-week. Eventually, the two decided that distance was the best decision they could take, at least inside the house.
