Bigg Boss 16 December 5 Written Update: Ankit Gupta is declared as the new captain of the house

After giving the housemates a very colourful challenge on Day 65 of Bigg Boss 16 a new captain was named. Many disputes arose during the task that persisted for a long time after it was completed.

The colourful captaincy task that Bigg Boss has in store for the housemates is explained. Ankit, Priyanka, Shalin, and Sumbul are the candidates for captaincy this week, and the supreme creates "clothes shops" for each of them. The nominees are obliged to paint and smear dirt on the attire of their competitors' nominees. By washing their clothes, the housemates can show support for the nominee of their choosing. The person with the most spotless clothing can choose who they wish to boot from the captaincy competition at its conclusion.

The task's initial supervisor is Nimrit. Priyanka is instructed by Tina to thoroughly sanitise Sumbul's clothing. After talking about it with Ankit and Shiv, she asks Archana to help wash it for them.
