Bhuj: The Pride of India will start streaming on Disney+Hotstar around Independence Day.
Amidst speculations of Ajay Devgn and Sonakshi Sinha’s next film Bhuj: The Pride Of India’s release date, the makers have finally released a motion poster to announce the same. The movie is slated for release to mark the occasion of Independence Day this year.
Bhuj, which was always scheduled for a direct-to-OTT release, is slated to premiere on Disney+ Hotstar. The film will release on Friday, August 13.

Ajay plays the role of an IAF squadron Vijay Kumar Karnik in the film. He took charge and reconstructed Bhuj with the help of 300 women from the local village named Madhapur.
Sanjay Dutt, on the other hand, plays Ranchordas Pagi. Ammy Virk, who is also part of the film, will be seen as Vikram Singh Baj Jethaaz. Sonakshi Sinha plays the role of Sunderben Jetha, while Nora Fatehi will be seen as Heena Rehman. Sharad Kelkar, last seen in The Family Man, will also be seen in the role of RK Nair in the film.
The story dates back to 1971 in Gujarat, when Pakistan had launched ‘Operation Chengiz Khan,’ under which they raided the Bhuj airfield 35 times in 14 days with 92 bombs and 22 rockets.
Bhuj’s trailer is expected to drop on July 12.
The film is directed and written by Abhishek Dudhaiya. Raman Kumar, Ritesh Shah and Pooja Bhavoria have co-written the movie.
Bhuj is presented by T-Series and Ajay Devgn Ffilms. It is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Kumar Mangat Pathak, Ginny Khanuja, Vajir Singh and Bunny Sanghavi.
