Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 Twitter review: Kartik Aaryan, Kiara Advani, Tabu’s horror comedy wows some not all

The Anees Bazmee directorial was released in theatres today.

Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 found a place among some of the most anticipated Bollywood releases of the year. So it came as no surprise when fans flocked to theatres to catch the film on opening day. And the ones who did definitely wanted to make their opinion of Kartik Aaryan, Kiara Advani and Tabu’s film known. Fans took to Twitter to talk about what they thought of the horror comedy.

There were more than a few viewers who were entertained by the film. ‘Splendid combo of horror and comedy’, wrote one user. ‘High octane horror fit seamlessly in the narrative’, wrote another. Yet another user talked about how much fun they had in watching the film, saying that the movie really picked up in the second half, albeit having a few annoying scenes.

The performances of the lead cast too were praised by a lot of fans. One user talked about how Tabu ‘stood out’ from the rest of the cast, and said the film was a great balance of horror and comedy. Another user gushed over Kartik Aaryan’s performance, saying he brought forth another character for the ‘masses to love unconditionally’.

But not everyone was wowed by the film. Many viewers were less than impressed with the film. Some called it an ‘average’ film, while another referred to it as ‘garbage’.

In addition to Aaryan, Advani and Tabu, the film also features Rajpal Yadav and Sanjay Mishra in pivotal roles. The film is bankrolled under the banners of T-Series and Cine 1 Studios.

Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 is now showing in theatres. After its theatrical run, the movie will be available for streaming on Netflix.
