Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 Box Office collection day 6: Kartik Aaryan’s horror-comedy inches toward the Rs 90 crore mark

Synopsis: Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 is giving heavy competition to Kangana Ranaut’s action thriller Dhaakad at the box office

Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, featuring Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani, has surpassed all expectations. According to early estimates, the film grossed between Rs 84.21 and Rs 85.21 crore on Day 6 of its release.

The movie earned Rs 8.51 crore on Day 6, taking its collection to Rs 84.78 crore. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh noted that the movie will easily reach the Rs 92 crore mark during its second Friday at the domestic box office.

Adarsh also shared that Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 is one of the top three Hindi language grossers of 2022 after The Kashmir Files and Gangubai Kathiawadi.

Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 was released on May 20 in cinemas alongside Kangana Ranaut’s action thriller Dhaakad and has been giving the latter tough competition. According to an ETimes article, many theatres throughout India have withdrawn the spy action movie due to very low attendance numbers.

Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, directed by Anees Bazmee, also stars Rajpal Yadav, Sanjay Mishra, and Tabu. The movie is touted as a spiritual sequel to the 2007 hit horror-comedy helmed by Priyadarshan and led by Akshay Kumar and Vidya Balan.
