Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 box office collection Day 17: Kartik Aaryan's horror comedy crosses Rs 150 crore mark

Directed by Anees Bazmee and also stars Kiara Advani, Tabu and Rajpal Yadav, the movie will stream on Netflix.

Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 released around the country as one of the most-anticipated Hindi movies of the year, and it has had a great box office run as well. Kartik Aaryan’s sequel has now crossed the Rs. 150 crore milestone at the box office.

According to trade analyst Taran Adarsh, the movie has now minted Rs. 154.82 crore at the box office after 17 days. The movie has also reportedly had a good third weekend, with it making Rs. 2.81 crore on Friday, Rs. 4.55 crore on Saturday and Rs. 5.71 crore on Sunday.

Though there have been a number of releases in the last week, the horror comedy is still standing its ground. The movie is now headed towards a collection of Rs. 175 crore according to Adarsh.

Aaryan had already thanked his fans for the success of the movie in a statement. Sharing his love, the actor thanked the makers and the cast and crew for the movie’s success.

“The supporting cast, including Rajpal Yadav, with their epic expressions and funniest dialogues, will leave you in splits. He is joined by Sanjay Mishra and Ashwini Kalsekar, who are equally good, especially in scenes when they face Manjulika.” read the movie’s review on OTTplay.

Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 is helmed by Anees Bazmee, who has previously helmed comedies such as No Entry, Singh Is Kinng, and Welcome Back. With Kartik Aaryan taking the lead, the movie also stars Kiara Advani, Tabu and Rajpal Yadav in pivotal roles.

The horror comedy, which is backed by T-Series Films, will stream on Netflix following its theatrical run.
