Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2: Advance booking prices of Kartik Aaryan’s film are 50% less than KGF 2, RRR, Dr Strange 2

Kartik Aaryan’s upcoming horror comedy Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 is a highly anticipated project. With its release date ever so close, the makers have started its advance booking and the ticket prices are almost 50% less than other big hitters playing in theatres right now.

According to a report by Pinkvilla, the advance booking prices of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 at PVR Andheri starts at Rs. 160, which is considerably low compared to KGF: Chapter 2. Yash’s movie, which has broken a long list of box office records since its release, is selling at around Rs. 300 per ticket.

Other big blockbusters such as S.S. Rajamouli’s RRR, starring Ram Charan and Jr. NTR, and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness are selling their tickets at a cost, higher than Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2.

“After multiple meetings and rounds of discussions, the producers, Bhushan Kumar and Murad Khetani along with distributor Anil Thadani, decided to let go of the premium pricing strategy. The idea is to get more and more people back to the cinema,” a source close to the development told the portal.

Also starring Kiara Advani, Tabu, Rajpal Yadav and Sanjay Mishra in pivotal roles, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 is backed by Bhushan Kumar, Murad Khetani, Anjum Khetani and Krishan Kumar under the banners of T-Series and Cine 1 Studios.

The movie is a spiritual sequel to 2007’s Bhool Bhulaiyaa, directed by Priyadarshan and starring Akshay Kumar, Vidya Balan, Ameesha Patel, Shiney Ahuja, Paresh Rawal, Manoj Joshi, Asrani, Rajpal Yadav and Vikram Gokhale.

The movie, which is touted to be a horror comedy unlike the original, which was a psychological horror comedy, is set to hit theatres around the country on May 20. The movie will clash with Kangana Ranaut’s Dhaakad.
