The film will go on floors once he wraps up the shoot of Kalyan Krishna’s Telugu remake of Bro Daddy
Chiranjeevi has been working at a breathtaking pace over the last couple of years, taking industry and his fans by surprise. He’s all set to have his fourth release in just under two years this weekend - Bholaa Shankar, directed by Meher Ramesh. While several names like Maruthi, Mallidi Vassishta who were tipped to direct the star, it was ultimately Kalyan Krishna who earned a nod from Chiranjeevi.
After Bholaa Shankar, Chiranjeevi is expected to formally announce the remake of Bro Daddy to be directed by Kalyan Krishna and join the shoot. Meanwhile, reports suggest the ‘mega star’ has green-lit another film with a star producer and a hit director. If all goes well, he’s set to team up with Bhagavanth Kesari filmmaker Anil Ravipudi for an entertainer to be produced by Dil Raju (who backed his films like F2, F3, Supreme, Raja The Great earlier).
While both Chiranjeevi and Anil Ravipudi are busy with their current commitments, the much-anticipated project, the former’s 157th film, will go on floors early next year. The filmmaker may narrate full dialogue version to Chiranjeevi in the early half of 2024. Given the mutual ease of Chiranjeevi and Anil Ravipudi with comedy and action, this is expected to be a feast for fans.
Bhagavanth Kesari, Anil Ravipudi’s action entertainer to release on October 20, will star Balakrishna, Kajal Aggarwal, Sreeleela in key roles and is produced by Shine Screens. The teaser released recently has only increased the expectations surrounding the film. Arjun Rampal, Sarath Kumar and others too play key roles in the actioner which has music by S Thaman.
Meanwhile, Chiranjeevi’s latest Bholaa Shankar, which releases on August 11, also features Tamannaah, Keerthy Suresh, Sushanth, is directed by Meher Ramesh and produced by Anil Sunkara under AK Entertainments. Netflix has acquired its post-theatrical streaming rights and will premiere the film in the second half of September.
