Bholaa Shankar, Jailer box office prediction: Rajinikanth-starrer trumps Chiranjeevi's remake in Telugu states

Bholaa Shankar is all set for a massive release on August 11, 2023. Megastar Chiranjeevi plays the main lead in this film which is the official remake of the Tamil hit Vedhalam. Meher Ramesh has directed the action drama and Anil Sunkara has produced Bholaa Shankar on a budget of Rs 80 crores.

The pre-release event of the film was held on a grand note in Hyderabad and this function created a decent hype for the film's release. All this while, Bholaa Shankar was not much in the news and the fans were upset with the fact that the makers are not doing much with the promotions. Well, all this has affected the advance bookings of the film.

In fact, the booking for the family drama is just average and not on par which should resonate with a star hero film. If this was not enough, Rajinikanth's Jailer is also releasing a day earlier on August 10, and the bookings for the action drama are better than Bholaa Shankar in a few areas of the Telugu states.

So, Bholaa Shankar will also need to tackle Rajinikanth at the box office. Though Rajini's films are no more a threat at the box office these days, if the film carries a hit talk, the Telugu audience will throng the theatres big time. Seeing all this, Bholaa Shankar has to start on a very positive note with impressive reviews.

Generally, the songs and trailers keep the film in the news but with Bholaa Shankar, both have been average. Mahati Swara Sagar composed the film's music and it is pretty ordinary. All three songs that have been released did not gain much attention and the trailer was only loved by the fans.

But megastar Chiranjeevi is confident that once the film releases, all these minute complaints will be erased and every section of the audience will love the film. Keerthy Suresh plays Chiranjeevi's sister in this film which also has Tamannah as the female lead. We need to see how much will the Chiranjeevi starrer make at the box office.
