Keerthy Suresh, Tamannah Bhatia, Sushanth play other important roles in the Telugu remake of Ajith’s Vedalam
After a series of disappointments, Chiranjeevi returned to form in style this year with the Sankranti release Waltair Veerayya, directed by Bobby Kolli. His immediate release is Bholaa Shankar, directed by Meher Ramesh, the Telugu remake of the Ajith blockbuster Vedalam. He’s paired opposite Tamannah Bhatia in the film while Keerthy Suresh is cast as his on-screen sister. Sushanth also plays a key role in the film.
While the film is gearing up for a release for the Independence Day weekend across the globe, the makers are gradually amping up the promotional activity. Recently, the first single from the film, Bholaa Mania, composed by Mahati Swara Sagar, released to positive responses from fans and music buffs. Earlier today, Chiranjeevi offered a peek into the sets of a sangeet number from the sets of Bholaa Shankar.
Taking a dig at himself with his reputation of leaking plots and crucial updates of a film at promotional events, he tagged the post as ‘Chiru Leaks’ on his Instagram handle. Besides the leads, the lavishly shot number features all the prominent actors in Bholaa Shankar - Vennela Kishore, Viva Harsha, Raghu Babu, Getup Srinu, Hyper Aadhi, Surekha Vani and Sithara, to name a few.
Chiranjeevi is seen sharing many light-hearted moments with his actor counterparts on sets, cracking a joke with Keerthy, Tamannaah and seen shaking a leg with them later. It’s in fact delightful to see the positive energy and the camaraderie with which the song is being shot with smiles all around. Meher Ramesh is overjoyed to be directing his idol as he finalises a shot by the end of the glimpse.
The sangeet number is likely to revolve around Keerthy and Sushanth’s characters in the film. Sekhar master has choreographed the fast paced number that goes ‘Jaam..Jaam..Jajjanakka..Tellarlu aadudaam tayyi takka..’ Anil Sunkara is bankrolling the film under AK Entertainments in collaboration with KS Rama Rao’s Creative Commercials.
