Is Bholaa, starring Ajay Devgn, performing well at the box office? Let's look at the day 1 advance booking to find out!
Ajay Devgn is all set to return to the big screen with his Bholaa. There are huge expectations for the actor's upcoming movie because Drishyam 2 earned 200 crores at the Indian box office. As a big-screen entertainment aimed at the masses, one hopes the first weekend at the box office is successful.
The Biggie is Ajay's fourth film under his own direction, following Runway 34, U Me Aur Hum, and Shivaay. Although competing with Ae Dil Hai Mushkil starring Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma, his Shivaay got off to a strong start. Post continuing the popularity of Drishyam 2, and his subsequent film is anticipated to make an impression from the outset.
Bholaa initially generated a lot of buzz when the teaser was released. The movie, however, failed to maintain the hype going forward. As a result, following a positive first trend, we are seeing a poor response in advance booking. 20 crore+ was anticipated on the first day due to Ram Navami's half holiday. But, there will come a time when even reaching the 15 crore mark will be enough.
In the meantime, Dasara will also be released on Ram Navami in addition to Bholaa, Nani's first-ever pan-Indian film. Speaking about the clash, Nani said, “We all love Ajay Devgn and I don’t think there is a clash between the two. I would request everyone to go and watch ‘Bholaa’ in the morning and ‘Dasara’ in the evening.”
