Bholaa box office collection Day 3: Ajay Devgn and Tabu starrer witnesses a hike on Saturday

Bholaa box office collection Day 3

After a significant drop on Friday, the Ajay Devgn starrer Bholaa has minted the highest earnings on day third with Rs. 12.1 crores, which makes the overall box office collection of the action thriller film Rs 30.7 crores till now. Reportedly, the effect on Friday's collection was seen due to the commencement of the IPL 2023 and that too with a match between Chennai Super Kings and Gujarat Titans.

It is still too soon to predict if Devgn's starrer and the directed film will be able to enter the 100 crore club, however, the makers as well as the fans are still hopeful.

Among all the Bollywood releases in 2023 till now, Bholaa marks the third highest opener movie after Pathaan and Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar. The YRF film starring Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone and John Abraham starrer broke many records on the first day of its release including kick-staring its huge box office collection with Rs 57 crores on the opening day. Meanwhile, the Luv Ranjab directorial starring Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor minted Rs 15.73 crores on day 1.

Unlike Pathaan, Bholaa is gathering plenty of mixed reviews from the film critics as well as the movie buffs. Some people are liking Devgn as the actor and director of the action thriller movie, while some are loving Deepak Dobriyal's antagonist character and Abhishek Bachchan's cameo appearance. However, there are a few, who are calling Bholaa a boring Hindi remake of the Tamil film as well as a disaster.
