Did you know this star director was the first choice to make Pawan Kalyan's Bheemla Nayak
Pawan Kalyan is one star that needs no introduction. He is a demi god for his fans and he is in news for his political career which is taking new turns with each passing day. Pawan Kalyan was last seen in the hit film Bheemla Nayak which was the remake of the Malayalam hit Ayyapanum Koshiyum and also had Rana Dagubati as the other main lead.
Saagar K Chandra was the man who was roped in by the makers Sithara Entertainments to direct this film. But not many know that he was not the first choice to direct this film. We have come to know from our sources that the Veera Simha Reddy director Gopichand Malineni was the first choice for the director's hat.
Going into details, when the producers bought the remake rights, they had a few people in mind to direct this film. Gopichand Malineni, who was high on the success of his film Krack with Ravi Teja was also approached for the same. After a few rounds of discussions, he did not bag the project and the chance went to Saagar.
Gopichand has been a huge fan of Pawan Kalyan and says that he is still in touch with the superstar and will make a film with him one day. For now, Gopichand is flying high with the success of Veera Simha Reddy as the film has become Balakrishna's biggest hit in his career.
