The film is directed by Saagar K Chandra and produced by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi under Sithara Entertainments
The inevitable has happened. It's now official that Bheemla Nayak, the Pawan Kalyan-Rana Daggubati starrer, will not release on January 12, 2022. After a series of negotiations from the team of RRR, Radhe Shyam and the Telugu Film Producers Council to push the release of Bheemla Nayak to a later date, the producers, Sithara Entertainments, have budged. Instead, the mass entertainer will hit theatres during the Shivaratri festival season, on February 25, 2022, it was revealed. The news was confirmed in a press meet hosted by the board of Telugu Film Producers Council today.
"We're heading for the Sankranti season in a Telugu cinema after a tough year with the pandemic. RRR and Radhe Shyam, among them, are pan-Indian releases that have been in the making for over three years. Telugu cinema is performing exceptionally at the globe and films need a right release window to shine. After a series of meetings we had with Bheemla Nayak producer and Pawan Kalyan, we requested them that it would be ideal to shift the release of their film to a new date, to which they have responded positively. Bheemla Nayak will now release on February 25, 2022," Dil Raju said at the press meet.
The Venkatesh,Varun Tej comic caper, F3, which was to release on February 25,2022, will now make it to theatres on April 29,2022, leading to the summer season. This announcement also confirms that only two Telugu films will be releasing for Sankranti 2022 - RRR and Radhe Shyam. Nagarjuna's Bangarraju, originally slated to release on January 15,2022 (though not announced), may arrive by the end of January, 2022 if all goes well. This is exactly what the doctor ordered for both RRR and Radhe Shyam, given they're made on a massive budget and wouldn't want ideally to face competition from their home turf.
The promotional activity for Radhe Shyam is kickstarting on December 23 with the trailer launch at Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad in the presence of fans, cast and crew. The team of RRR, meanwhile, are leaving no stone unturned to spread the word about the film across multiple markets in the country.
