Bheemla Nayak: One blockbuster film and an exciting battle between two OTT platforms

This is going to be a special weekend for Telugu movie lovers across OTT and theatres. While one of the most awaited films of the year, RRR, directed by SS Rajamouli, starring Jr NTR, Ram Charan is making a splash at theatres across five languages on March 25 worldwide, another blockbuster film Bheemla Nayak is set to garner many eyeballs with its OTT release on not one but two streaming platforms - aha and Disney+ Hotstar.

Both the streaming platforms are going all out to promote the digital premiere of Bheemla Nayak. While aha had set the tone for the promotions by releasing a special trailer cut designed by their team, Disney+ Hotstar wasn't too far behind in following suit, unveiling an equally compelling trailer. Several fans were of the opinion that both the trailers were much better than what the production house, Sithara Entertainments, had managed during its theatrical release.

aha went even a step ahead by launching the trailer in the presence of Pawan Kalyan's fans in their office. From special posters to promos, two leading platforms have been competing hard to earn the audience's attention for the same over the last week. However one must say, aha has the edge over Disney+ Hotstar with their aggressive promotions till now. Even after the OTT release too, aha and Disney+ Hotstar will be having a keen eye on each other's performance.

In terms of garnering numbers after the OTT release, there's no debating the fact that Disney+ Hotstar will have the upperhand, given it's the no.1 OTT platform in the country and its global presence too is quite strong. aha too has had an impressive run lately, grabbing rights of many popular films like DJ Tillu, Sehari, Sebastian PC524 besides the success of their non-fiction reality show, Telugu Indian Idol.

Directed by Saagar K Chandra, Bheemla Nayak has screenplay and dialogues by Trivikram and was bankrolled by S Naga Vamsi under Sithara Entertainments.
