Bheed Twitter review: Netizens praise all performances, but find Rajkummar Rao-Bhumi Pednekar's film incomplete

Anubhav Sinha's Bheed revisits this tragic tale and focuses on those real-life events that took place in the country during the COVID-19 pandemic but are yet unknown to a majority of people till date. The Rajkummar Rao and Bhumi Pednekar starrer is another attempt by a filmmaker to showcase the reality behind the whole chaos that took the world by storm. Apart from displaying people's reactions to the deadly virus, the latest movie also talks about how casteism and religious beliefs took a toll on a lot of humans.

Movie-buffs recently took to social media sites to share their thoughts on Anubhav's film. A few fans liked the performances of the brilliant actors, while some called the movie incomplete and a one-time watch.

One of the movie-goers mentioned in Hindi that the film tries to showcase the truth, but its far from reality, meanwhile, it also feels incomplete and seems like a documentary.

Another one called it a one-time watch and also mentioned, "#BheedReview : Great concept, Great plot but Avg. story made it only one time watchable. Performance by awesome. But story shifts from Corona Pandemic lockdown to Caste based discrimination. If they have focused more on Corona pandemic in detailed manner. It will treat yo watch. (sic)."

Meanwhile, a few movie fans loved the brave concept of the movie. One of the Twitter users mentioned, "#MovieReview #Bheed #Bheed: #AnubhavSinha, in his cinematic portrayal of a certain phase of the pandemic, comes really close to the real-life trauma faced by thousands... Overall: A brave portrayal of the plight of migrant workers during lockdown... #BheedReview (sic)."

Another one mentioned that even though it's an entertain-less film, it needs the audience's attention. The post reads, "#BheedReview #Bheed is entertainless, not a feel good movie, but it needs your attention to analyze the circumstance which occurred during pandemic and a scope for change if the situation re-arrives in future. @RajkummarRao & @bhumipednekar (sic)."

Backed by Bhushan Kumar's T-Series and Sinha’s Benaras Mediaworks, Bheed also has Pankaj Kapur, Kritika Kamra, Dia Mirza and Ashutosh Rana among others. The film is out in theatres now.
