Bhavai the musical drama starring Pratik Gandhi has been making headlines for some time now. The latest update about the upcoming movie is about its release date.
The makers have shared that the movie will now arrive on October 22, 2021, three weeks later than the release date proposed earlier.
Pen Studios, the makers of Bhavai issued a statement regarding the change in the release date. They said, “Keeping that and all the love we have received so far in mind, we have decided to postpone the release of our film ‘Bhavai’ to 22nd October 2021, owing to the recent and much-awaited declaration by the Maharashtra Government regarding the re-opening of theatres.” (sic)
Pratik Gandhi, who became a popular name across the country after playing Harshad Mehta in the highly successful web series Scam 1992 will be making his much-awaited Bollywood debut. The movie also stars Rajendra Gupta, Rajesh Sharma, and Abhimanyu Singh in important roles.
Bhavai follows the story of Raja Ram Joshi, who plays Raavan on stage and falls in love with Rani, who plays Sita. This leads the village to object to their romance.
While the trailer for the movie was well received and got over 10 million views, it also sparked rows of controversy. The film was earlier titled Raavan Leela but was renamed Bhavai after several people objected to its title and demanded a ban on the film.

The movie, which is written and directed by Hardik Gajjar, is produced by Dhaval Jayantilal Gada, Aksshay Jayantilal Gada, Parth Gajjar, Richa Amod Sachan and Gajjar.
