Directed by Chaitanya Dantuluri and produced by Rajani Korrapati, Bhala Thandanana was earlier slated to release on April 30
Sree Vishnu is foraying into the hard-core commercial terrain with his next, Bhala Thandanana, an action entertainer. Directed by Baanam, Basanthi fame Chaitanya Dantuluri, the film produced by Rajani Korrapati, under the popular banner Vaaraahi Chalana Chitram, features Catherine Tresa as the female lead. Ramachandra Raju, Srinivas Reddy and Satya and others also play important roles in this actioner. The makers have now confirmed Bhala Thandanana's release date - May 6.
Earlier, the producers decided to release Bhala Thandanana this weekend itself, on April 30, a day after Acharya's release, but went back on their decision in the last minute. Now, the film will release a week ahead of another biggie, i.e. Mahesh Babu's Sarkaru Vaari Paata. The new release date of Bhala Thandanana was announced today and the makers are all set to begin a massive promotional campaign.
Mani Sharma, who has scored the music for biggies like Naarappa, Acharya recently, is the composer of the project. Two songs and a teaser from the film have already been launched and opened to good responses all over. Bhala Thandanana is written by Srikanth Vissa, who's a much-sought-out name in the industry in the recent times. Suresh Ragutu is the cinematographer of the project while Marthand K Venkatesh is the editor. Gandhi Nadikudikar leads the art direction team with Peter Hein supervising the action sequences.
Sree Vishnu will next be seen in the cop drama Alluri while Catherine Tresa plays one of the female leads in Macherla Niyojaka Vargam alongside Nithiin. Vaaraahi Chalana Chitram is also bankrolling the launch vehicle of Kireeti, the son of politician Janardhan Reddy, a film that is being simultaneously made in Telugu and Kannada. The banner also was associated with the Telugu version of KGF: Chapter 2 recently.
