Sree Vishnu, who's currently playing a cop in Alluri, is gearing up for his first theatrical release of the year, Bhala Thandanana. He is paired alongside Catherine Tresa in the film directed by Baanam, Basanthi filmmaker Chaitanya Dantuluri. Reputed production house behind films like Eega, Maryada Ramanna, Oohalu Gusagusalaade, Vaaraahi Chalana Chitram is backing the film while Rajani Korrapati is the producer and Sai Korrapati is the presenter. Bhala Thandanana is expected to hit theatres in May.
Ramachandra Raju, Srinivas Reddy and Satya too play important roles in the film. The teaser of Bhala Thandanana opened to good responses, says the team which was initially optimistic about the film's fortunes at the box office and was ready to clash with the mighty Acharya. However, the director announced that they weren't going ahead with the April 30 release date as planned. The earlier announcement of Bhala Thandanana's release just a day after Acharya caught many off-guard, though better sense prevailed later.
Mani Sharma has composed the songs and the background score for the film and the makers are satisfied with the reception for the singles launched to date. The out-and-out commercial entertainer is written by Srikanth Vissa with Suresh Ragutu handling cinematography. Marthand K Venkatesh is the editor, while Gandhi Nadikudikar is the art director. Peter Hein has choreographed the action sequences.
