Also starring Pooja Hegde and Venkatesh, the action entertainer is helmed by Farhad Samji.
Salman Khan is one of the biggest names in Bollywood and a highly celebrated star. Regardless of his movie’s success, the songs from his projects often get a big reception from his fans from around the country. The latest news from his upcoming project Bhaijaan is that ace composer Devi Sri Prasad (DSP) and Yo Yo Honey Singh will come together for a number.
According to a report by Pinkvilla, a peppy number has already been recorded where DSP and Honey Singh have come together for. The song reportedly has the peppy beats DSP is known for, along with portions of rap by Honey Singh.
"It's a dance number marking the unique collaboration of DSP with Yo Yo Honey Singh. The makers have already recorded the song, and some who have heard it insist that it would be an earworm for the audience. It's a merger of peppy beats with a bit of rap by Yo Yo Honey Singh," a source close to the development told the publication.
Salman Khan and DSP have previously worked together in movies such as Ready, Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, Jai Ho, and Radhe. Dhinka Chika from Ready was a chartbuster following the movie’s release in 2011. Yo Yo Honey Singh and Salman have previously come together for the song Yaar Na Miley in Kick.
Bhaijaan, directed by Farhad Samji, was earlier titled Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali. With elements of action, drama, and romance, the movie also marks Pooja Hegde’s Bollywood debut. The movie also features Jagapathi Babu, Raghav Juyal, Jassie Gill, and Shehnaaz Gill. The movie will also reportedly see Telugu stars Ram Charan and Venkatesh in cameo roles, as they appear for a song.
While there were reports earlier this week that Salman and DSP had decided to part ways on the project on mutual consent, this latest report suggests that this was not the case. Bhaijaan is scheduled to hit theatres in December of this year.
