Bhagavanth Kesari’s Ganesh Anthem promo: Sreeleela asks crowds to make way for ‘chicha’ Balakrishna

Nandamuri Balakrishna and Sreeleela

This Dussehra promises to be a special one for Nandamuri Balakrishna fans with the release of Bhagavanth Kesari, the action entertainer that has the star joining forces with the comedy specialist Anil Ravipudi for the first time. The October 19 release features Kajal Aggarwal, Sreeleela as female leads and is produced by Sahu Garapati and Harish Peddi under Shine Screens.

Balakrishna and Sreeleela play uncle and niece in the film. Arjun Rampal makes his Telugu debut with the action entertainer that also stars Sarath Kumar. Nearly 50 days prior to the release, the makers have launched the promo of the first single - Ganesh Anthem - a track commemorating the festive fervour on the Vinayaka Chavithi festival day. Kareemullah, Maneesh Pandranki are the singers.

Kasarla Shyam wrote the lyrics for the song choreographed by Sekhar (Master). ‘Ganapati Bappa Moriya..Jai Bolo Ganesh Maharajki..’ the opening line goes as crowds in an open space, including Sreeleela, donning a wide variety of attires, enthusiastically dance to the track. Balakrishna makes his presence felt soon, wearing a yellow-coloured kurta, white pyjama, sporting shades.

‘Bidda..aanthaledu..sound jara gattiga cheyamanu,’ Balakrishna informs Sreeleela and the latter responds, ‘Teesi pakkana pettandi raa..mee teenmaar.. chicha ochindu..etla undale..kotta ra kottu saumaar..’ The lyrical video of the first single will be launched this Friday - i.e. September 1. The timing of the song launch, two weeks before Vinayaka Chavithi (on Sep 15), couldn’t have been any better.

C Ram Prasad cranks the camera for the film while Tammi Raju is the editor. Rajeevan is the production designer and V Venkat is the action choreographer respectively. S Krishna is the executive producer. Balakrishna had also attended the pre-release event of Sreeleela’s Skanda the previous weekend. Sreeleela, after Skanda and Bhagavanth Kesari, will be seen in Aadi Keshava.
