Bhagavanth Kesari, Nandamuri Balakrishna’s upcoming action entertainer after Waltair Veerayya this year, is wrapping its shoot at a brisk pace. Director Anil Ravipudi, the ‘comedy’ specialist is treading a new path for the biggie, produced by Sahu Garapati and Harish Peddi under Shine Screens. Kajal Aggarwal, Sreeleela play the female leads in the high-voltage actioner.

The makers are leaving no stone unturned to ensure that the film releases as per schedule on October 19 (for Dussehra). While the shoot is nearing completion, the team is quite satisfied with the responses received for the first glimpse. Now, they’ve announced the launch date of the first single titled ‘Ganesh anthem’. S Thaman composes the music for the film, his third project with Balakrishna.

“Let's begin the #BhagavanthKesari musical hungama with the Massive Celebratory Song of the Year. 1st Single #GaneshAnthem Lyrical Video on SEP 1st. A @MusicThaman Musical,” the production house tweeted this noon. The singer(s) and the lyricist will be announced shortly. In the poster released by the team, Balakrishna, donning a saffron kurta, is seen playing a dhol.

There are high expectations from the album given Thaman’s both albums for Balakrishna - Akhanda and Veera Simha Reddy - boast several chartbusters are provided a good boost to the film ahead of its release. This is of course, home territory for Thaman, who has rarely disappointed with larger-than-life actioners. This is also his first collaboration with Anil Ravipudi.

Arjun Rampal, Sarath Kumar essay key characters in the film. Veteran technician C Ram Prasad, who also worked on Akhanda, is the cinematographer. Tammi Raju is the editor of the film whose crew also comprises production designer Rajeevan, stunt director V Venkat. S Krishna is the executive producer. The film lock horns with Ravi Teja’s Tiger Nageswara Rao (October 20) during the festive weekend.
