12 years ago, Kannada actor Sharan made the transition from supporting artiste/comedian to leading man with Rambo. In the time since, he has done a string of solo hero projects, all of which, however, never strayed from his strength – comedy. No matter the genre, all his films have a healthy dose of humour, which, he says, fans have come to expect of him. As the actor’s latest, Avatara Purusha 2 drops on OTT, here’s a look at some of his most fun films to stream.
Sharan made the switch to leading man with Rambo, his 100thfilm. The film, which paired Sharan with Madhuri Itagi, was a hit, with its music by Arjun Janya one of its major highlights.

Director Anil Kumar paired Sharan with Ashika Ranganath for this action comedy drama. The movie was a hit, as was the music, with Chuttu Chuttu emerging as one of the most streamed Kannada numbers.
