Shekhar Home

Directed by Srijit Mukherji, Shekhar Home starred Kay Kay Menon and Ranvir Shorey. The series was set in the 90s in Lonpur, West Bengal. It revolved around the life of Shekhar and his friend Jayavrat who solve different kinds of cases. The show premiered on August 14, 2024.

Dune: Prophecy

Developed by Diane Ademu-John and Alison Schapker, Dune: Prophecy is a science fiction series that premiered on HBO and JioCinema. The series premiered on November 17 and the final episode of the first season will drop on December 22, 2024.

Ranneeti: Balakot & Beyond

Directed by Santosh Singh, Ranneeti: Balakot & Beyond was set against the backdrop of the Pulwama attack. Starring Ashutosh Rana, Ashish Vidyarthi, and Jimmy Shergill, the series premiered on April 25, 2024.

Blackout

Helmed by Devang Shashin Bhavsar, Blackout was a comedy thriller which released earlier this year on the streaming platform. The film featured Vikrant Massey, Sunil Grover, and Mouni Roy.

True Detective: The Night Country

The fourth season of True Detective was released at the beginning of 2024. Titled True Detective: The Night Country, the series followed the story of the disappearance of 8 men from a research station.

Pill

Starring Riteish Deshmukh in the lead role, Pill was an 8-episode series that dropped on the OTT platform. It was created by Raj Kumar Gupta.

House of the Dragon 2

The second season of House of the Dragon premiered in June on HBO and JioCinema.Before season two's premiere, the makers renewed the series for 3rd season. Created by Ryan Condal and George R. R. Martin, the series consisted of 8 episodes.

Honeymoon Photographer

Featuring Asha Negi in the lead role, Honeymoon Photographer was directed by Arjun Srivastava. In the series, Asha essayed the role of Ambika, a photographer on a Maldives honeymoon assignment.

Illegal season 3

The third season of Illegal dropped on JioCinema this year. Starring Neha Sharma, Neil Bhoopalam, and more, the courtroom drama comprised 8 episodes.

The Penguin

Created by Lauren LeFranc, The Penguin premiered on September 19 and its last episode dropped on November 10, 2024. The series, starring Colin Farell, garnered widespread appreciation.
