Based on the Israeli TV series Fauda, Tanaav is not just about Kashmir but also about the militants and authorities. The series excels at showing the human side of the "other side" without supporting or endorsing any one viewpoint. It demonstrates the bravery and flaws that all people have, irrespective of their political beliefs and positions.

Dibyendu Bhattacharya and Harsh Chhaya-starrer Undekhi shows us the two facets of society - the oppressed, who endure years of agony before deciding to seek justice for themselves, and the power-hungry individuals who believe they can get away with anything. Back from the US, Ankur Rathee's character Daman Atwal is thrilled to be returning to India to wed Teji Grewal (Anchal Singh), the love of his life, in a lavish Punjabi ceremony. Things, however, take a surprising turn when he discovers how sick and power-hungry his family is after a senseless murder. Particularly, the town is largely controlled by his vicious cousin Rinku (Surya Sharma) and his foul-mouthed Papaji (Harsh Chhaya). Overall, Undekhi's narrative is just as fascinating as its quirky characters.

Charlie Chopra & The Mystery of Solang Valley
Directed by Vishal Bhardwaj, Charlie Chopra & The Mystery of Solang Valley is based on Agatha Christie’s crime mystery novel, The Sittaford Mystery. Vishal adapts the 1931 British novel to Himachal Pradesh's towns of Manali and Solang Valley. The only visual parallels between the original text and the modified one are the snow-covered mountains and old-world homes. Wamiqa Gabbi plays the titular Charlie Chopra, a detective and a Punjabi girl engaged to Jimmy (Vivaan Shah), an entrepreneur detained for the death of his maternal uncle, Brigadier Rawat (Gulshan Grover). Charlie is the one investigating the case. Remarkably, Gulshan—who was notorious for being portrayed as the “bad man” over the years was the one who was slain in this instance. The actor gives the entire plot a haunting sense of mystery that transcends death thanks to his polished manner and underlying evil streak.
