Money Heist has been one of the top streamed series on Netflix since 2017, apart from Stranger Things, and Squid Game. Hence, Netflix had come up with Money Heist: Korea - Joint Economic Area in 2022. Even this year, the Spanish one has ranked #2 on Netflix with 106,000,000 views, updated by the giant OTT itself.
Story of the original Money Heist
Set in Madrid, a mysterious man known as the ‘Professor’, recruits a group of eight people, who choose city names as their aliases, to carry out an ambitious plan that involves entering the Royal Mint of Spain, and escaping with €984 million.
It starred Álvaro Morte as the professor, Úrsula Corberó as Tokyo, Pedro Alonso as Berlin, Itziar Ituño as Raquel Murillo, Alba Flores as Nairobi, Miguel Herrán as Rio, and Jaime Lorente as Denver.

The South Korean version of Money Heist
The Korean version showed an operation that involves strategists and desperados with different characteristics and abilities, who have to face unusual situations. Thieves overtake the mint of a unified Korea. With hostages trapped inside, the police must stop them, as well as the operation's shadowy mastermind.
It starred Yoo Ji-Tae as the 'Professor', Jeon Jong-Seo as Tokyo, Les Joo-Bin as Yoon Mi-Seon, Ji Hoon-Kim as Denver, Lim Ji-Yeon as Seoul, Park Hae-Soo as Berlin, and Les Hyun-Woo as Rio.
Berlin story
Now the character Berlin has got its own individual show, with the same thrill of a heist. The story of Berlin is set before the events of Money Heist and is said to focus on his former exploits, his character evolution, and more. As revealed by the creators, he used to operate with a gang of his own and carried out major heists around Europe. This time, Berlin will be robbing another lump sum amount from Paris.
It stars Pedro Alonso as Berlin, Begona Vargas as Cameron, Tristan Ulloa as Damian, Michelle Jenner as Keila, Najwa Nimri, Itziar Ituno, and Julio Pena in the leads.
